Aw thanks Curmy and Bear. It is a huge weight off our minds and thanks for the hugs Bear.

While we were waiting to see Maria a lady brought a huge and very handsome golden retriever into the waiting room. Bailey, who had been laying at M's feet, sat up and got very animated, until he realised it wasn't Carri.

He didn't dribble at all while we were waiting to see Maria and he has all but stopped dribbling in the car now. It has taken a year for him to settle but I am so proud of him.

. I presume that you are talking about the cases of lung-worm. Please dont change you make my day with your Siouxisms.

Bear you haven't seen the state he gets himself into after a walk this time of year. The dribbling is the least of my worries - Bailey adores muddy puddles.

He gets through loads of towels - the monster.

As you have gathered I am not a fan of unruly dogs and therefore I always make sure they are trained to quite a high standard. Bailey, considering his beginnings, has been incredibly easy to train and has done so well - love him. His latest gold star came this week.

I have trained him to sit at kerbs to my voice command but today he has started to sit with just the slightest pull on the lead and without a word from me. I am so proud of him because that is not an easy thing for him to learn.
When Carrie, Daph and us two walk in the woods, Carrie has a tendency to do her own thing. If she wonders off into the woods and we ask Bailey to go find her, he looks and sniffs and then charges off into the woods. Nine times out of ten he comes back with her, such a wonderful dog is my Bailey.
This is all on top of the routine stuff but he is so eager to learn and loves to be praised for his good behaviour.
